Southwest Airlines continues to be a leader in domestic air travel in the United States, particularly at its home airport in Terminal 1 of   Southwest Airlines SAN Terminal , because of its affordable fares and overall high level of service. My most recent flight from SAN with Southwest was easy, cozy, and packed with extras that made the trip less stressful and more pleasurable. The services provided at this terminal, from check-in to boarding and all points in between, made a deep impression on me. Check-In and Baggage Services The easy check-in procedure, which begins as soon as you enter Terminal 1, is one of the main benefits of flying Southwest Airlines. Conveniently located next to the entrance are self-service kiosks, which are very user-friendly. In a matter of minutes, I printed my luggage tags and boarding card.
